Media just will not stop using the term "culture wars." Culture wars may be disputes about spaghetti or burgers for dinner. What the media misnames and often consciously trivializes as supposed "culture wars" are, in fact, the attack on human rights, authoritarianism, and the renewed enforcement of outright discrimination. There is nothing "both sides" about this, and it is not a question of cultural heritage or personal taste.
