You see lots of funny things on Twitter, as well as lots of egregious drivel. However, on occasion you see something that makes you realise how stupid many right wing nut jobs really are. One of the latter, and one of the funniest I have seen in a while, was from Miranda Devine, long time and one of the silliest opinion hacks for assorted Murdoch outlets. Someone dredged up a tweet she wrote on the 10th of November 2014, the day before Remembrance Day, which marks the anniversary of the end of World War 1. She stated:
“@SydneyWaterNews why doesn’t y[ou]r twitter-feed trumpet the giant pink condom you allowed on the Hyde Park Obelisk in time for Remembrance Day?”
Sydney Water replied to Miranda Devine:
“@mirandadevine the Hyde Park Obelisk is not a war memorial site, it is one of our first sewer vents, which is no longer used”

From @AngryGranny1: “More evidence that @mirandadevine has the intellect of a blood clot. Lol.
It is hard to disagree with that.
