    Surely there comes a point, and we may have reached it, when the imaginary evils fail to cause the desired effect?
    Having said that, terrorists are proving a worthy hobgoblin!

      Terrorism is real, rather than imaginary, but its dangers in Australia are grossly exaggerated. I suspect that you are more likely to die in a pub brawl than by terrorism in this country. So, the government, particularly dutton have conflated refugees with terrorists to keep the fear level up.
