QAnon is a multifarious conspiracy theory originating in forum posts on the far right wing website ‘4chan’ in October 2017. Adherents to this idiocy believed that then US president Donald Trump was waging a secret war against those running the world, and in the US, the ‘deep state’1.This conspiracy theory had, at its core, lurid claims that an elite cabal of child-trafficking paedophiles, comprising, among others, Hollywood A-listers, leading philanthropists, Jewish financiers and Democrat politicians, covertly rule the world2.
But, it gets even more bizarre. According to QAnon, every president before the first Trump administration was a criminal and all were part of the same old conspiracies: the global banking elite, Jewish financiers, death squads under the command of Hillary Clinton and ‘deep state’ intelligence operatives all in cahoots with enormous paedophile rings. The believers were convinced that the US military convinced Trump to run for president, and that once he was installed he would be able to arrest all the wrongdoers3.
Needless to say, this didn’t happen during his first term nor, strangely, has it happened in the couple of months into his second term. Indeed, I suspect that it will never happen because it was not based on anything like rationality. It was simply a way to suck the gullible into believing that Trump was their saviour, whereas the reverse has been true. He is simply a mouthpiece for billionaire oligarchs from whom he can suck money in payment for doing their bidding.
The irony is that many of the paedophiles in the US today are associated with the Republican Party. Donald Trump was a friend of convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. The Epstein papers have not all been released so we do not know the depths of his depravity4. During and after the 2016 presidential race, among the dozens of women who accused former president Donald Trump of being a sexual predator were several contestants in the 1997 Miss Teen USA pageant, who reported that he barged into their dressing room while girls as young as 15 were getting changed5. In 2006, Florida Rep. Mark Foley was forced to resign after it was revealed that he’d sent sexually explicit messages and propositioned teenage congressional pages via email and text5. Representative Matt Gaetz was being investigated for violating sex trafficking laws, and having a relationship with a 17-year old girl6. Former Republican speaker of the house, Dennis Hastert is a self-confessed child molester7. Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore has been accused of preying on girls as young as 148. Republican Minnesota State Senator Justin Eichorn, known for authoring anti-trans legislation and proposing a bill that would classify hatred of Donald Trump as a mental illness, was arrested for allegedly attempting to solicit sex from a minor9. One of Trump’s fiercest allies, Jim Jordan was made aware of abuse of 177 students by a colleague while he was a wrestling coach at Ohio State University, but did nothing10.
While those above comprise a relatively small number, there is a website which tracks all these Republican sexual predators (including paedophiles), and the count is, at the time of writing, 1375 people including those listed above11.
The QAnon believing buffoons elected Trump to imprison all the paedophiles (Hollywood A-listers, leading philanthropists, Jewish financiers and Democrat politicians etc.) running the US. However, little did they know (yes, a massive understatement) that the people they were electing to run the US were actually the paedophiles and their enablers. Oh, the irony.

If Trump is fighting a secret war against sexual abuse then he must be the GREATEST undercover agent in ALL HISTORY. These people are just so fucking stupid so fucking often about so many fucking things that my mind has ceased boggling. C

It beggars belief how stupid his supporters are. I find it almost incomprehensible, until I realise that so many hundreds or thousands of people have fallen for the Nigerian scam: “give me all your bank details so I can put a couple of million dollars in there; then when I take it out, I’ll let you keep a couple of hundred thousand”.
