A few days ago, TACO Trump gave Iran a 48 hour deadline to reopen the Strait of Hormuz or he would obliterate their power plants1, despite attacking civilian infrastructure being a war crime.
However, the following day, when Iran stated that they would retaliate by striking the energy and desalination systems of its Gulf neighbours in retaliation if TACO followed through2, TACO backed off, stating that he would delay the attacks by 5 days due to “very good and productive conversations that could result in complete and total resolution” of the war1. He said these talks would continue “throughout the week”.
There was only one problem with this. Iran declared that there were no talks taking place. According to foreign ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baqaei, “messages were received through some friendly countries indicating a US request for negotiations aimed at ending the war”. However, he denied that there were any “negotiations or talks with the United States during the past 24 days of the imposed war”1.
Trump did not specify who he had been talking with, but stated that it was a “top person” but was not Mojtaba Khamenei. He added “we’re dealing with the man who I believe is the most respected and the leader”1. As well as being poorly constructed, this is clearly bullshit.
The constant lying of TACO is now reaching even more ridiculous levels in that they can be easily demonstrated to be garbage, even for most of the politically illiterate. I find it hard to believe that someone as idiotic as Trump could be elected to such a position of power. The fact that it has happened in the US clearly indicates the system under which they operate is not fit for purpose.
